Experience Hendrix
A fantastic gig at Krakatoa, with a tacit nod to Jimmy in each set!

The Mamertines got things off to a great start, building steadily with some cohesive guitar sounds and punched out vocals.

Next up were the Ruckus, with their crowd pleasing style - whether it was the front man getting out into the crowd, or the guitarists dueling on stage, there was something for everyone in a great live performance.

Sonic Bucker were late to the party, but were worth the wait. With some thoughtful interplay between the guitar and the drums, the blues twang that wound through their set was a clever counter-point to the other sounds on parade.

The Lorelei closed out the night in spectacular fashion as ever. Certainly a less traditional band to find in the typically rocky heart of Krakatoa, but they made it their own and how. With a fantastic 6 piece folky sound they had the place jumping in no time... and that's before they handed out the kazoos!
